IASA 2007 Educational Conference & Business Show

In June, Team Puridiom participated in the 2007 IASA Educational Conference and Business Show. As always, we welcomed the opportunity to talk to our customers and meet with new attendees looking to improve their processes. Of special interest at this year’s IASA conference was one of the keynote speakers, Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Former Secretary of State, Colin Powell. Powell spoke about how it doesn’t matter whether you are leading an infantry battalion, the State Department, or an insurance company, you need to remember the importance of the followers – those on whom a leader relies – and to put them in the best possible positions to succeed. Powell stated, “Great leaders understand you put the followers in the best position so everyone understands their part of the mission.” “Leaders need to set high standards”, continued Powell, “displaying both moral and physical courage as well as ethics.” This message exemplifies Puridiom’s mission to enable our clients to succeed by providing real value-added solutions and services.
