ISM Attendees Surf to Savings with Puridiom Procure to Pay

Attendees of the 95th International Supply Management Conference and Educational Exhibit got the chance to test their surfing skills and “Catch the Wave to Savings” with Puridiom, a show sponsor. Puridiom, a leading procure to pay solution provider, educated attendees about the savings potential of eProcurement with an interactive surf-simulator game.

The surf simulator, provided by Hawaii Surf Simulators, challenged participants to score points by using the correct
stance on the board, maneuvering the board through the simulated waves and avoiding obstacles that could cause
them to wipe-out. Puridiom compared the qualities needed for a successful surf experience to those required in a
best-in-class eProcurement solution. A successful surfer and a quality procure-to-pay solution, Puridiom contends,
must have control, flexibility, strategy, good, sound technology, and adaptability.

“Our challenge was to give the surfers the tips and strategies to get the best out
of their performance,” said Albert Jacobs, VP of Operations, Puridiom. “We do this

Puridiom also introduced Puridiom 4.0 at the conference. Puridiom 4.0 includes two
new modules, Travel Management and Enhanced Asset Management, as well as
Internet Shopping. Puridiom 4.0 is available May 3, 2010.
